INVEST IN THE PLANET. WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Regional Intercollegiate Sustainability Council (RISC), a student run inter-university community network to encourage and support environmentally sustainable project work on the various campuses. The purpose is for student environmental organizations to share what sustainability projects are taking place at each campus. Students agreed that sharing ideas, resources, and best practices, even once a semester, would be beneficial. Having access to knowledge about what works or doesn’t work at other universities is thought to be more beneficial than developing collaborative events. Campuses that are closer together could potentially have a joint club event, but nothing too large or overwhelming.
